A series of possible shcemes have been developed by Pulborough community Partnership in conjunction with the Parish, District and County Councils around the existing Library.

The plans are being used to discuss with the numerous user groups and service providers within the parish the possibility of developing this new facility for the community. The scheme is evolving and will, if fully implemented, facilitate a new central community hub including a refurbished Library incoporating all the latest library services and reading area facilities; a cafe overlooking Pulborough Brooks; surgery rooms for confidential consultations with the public and various service providers; a public lavatory with disabled access and a presentation area for groups of up to 40 people. In addition, there may be scope to provide facilities for local home-based businesses such as transitional office space or meeting rooms.

The current project phase is to consult with local service providers and user groups to confirm the business case for the proposals.
