The Local Action Team is a working group that liaises between Pulborough residents and the police to identify and address local issues of crime, safety and anti-social behaviour.
The purpose of the LAT is to consider in detail the range of anti-social behaviour and other matters which adversely affect the lives of local residents and attempt to devise and implement remedial action within a legal framework
By consultation with the community, the Police, local business Pulborough Parish Council, Horsham District Council and other interested parties, identify the problems and seek approval of the associated organizations to find solutions.
LAT is created under the supervision of , and will operate under the overview of, the Pulborough Community Partnership. All members will accept and undersign the Sussex Information Exchange Protocol and work within its guidelines. “Best practice” will be followed whenever possible.
Membership will comprise representatives of the supporting organisations, local volunteers and others acceptable to the overseeing organizations
LAT will receive full administrative support as required through Horsham District Council’s Community Safety Team
