Welcome to the web site of the Pulborough Community Partnership
Who are we?The Pulborough Community Partnership is a not-for-profit limited company run by local volunteers to achieve a better quality of life for residents. Anyone who lives or works in the Pulborough area can join. The day-to-day work of the Partnership is carried out at the level of specific projects, with strategic oversight provided by a board of directors and a management committee. People are elected to key roles each year at an open AGM as set out in our Articles of Association. Information on board and committee members and project leaders can be found on our Contacts page. The Partnership is a community-led organisation and we seek to involve as many Pulborough residents and businesses as possible in our work (See Get Involved to the right). The Partnership is also committed to transparency and will publish all meeting minutes and key project documents on this web site. If you can't find what you are looking for, or would like to speak to us directly, please contact us. | What do we do?The Partnership works closely with Pulborough Parish Council to address the issues and priorities identified in the Pulborough Community Action Plan 2003 and the draft Pulborough Community Action Plan 2011.We do this by bringing together Pulborough residents, charities, voluntary groups, businesses, and local government across a range of projects and activities. Most of our work falls under one or more of the four main headings from the Community Action Plan: | New Public Transport GuideThe Wiggonholt Association, with support from the Pulborough Community Partnership, have produced a helpful guide to public and community transport services in the Pulborough area. Get involved! The Partnership and its work is driven by the needs and ideas of people who live and work in Pulborough. No matter what skills or experience you have, no matter how much (or how little!) time you have to give, you'll be able to contribute in some way. If you think you can offer some time, expertise or resources, or if you have an idea for a project, get in touch with us by email at volunteers@pulborough.org to talk about how you can help. |
